As the President of WONCA East Mediterranean Region, it gives me great pleasure and honor to invite you to Fourth WONCA East Mediterranean Region Family Medicine Congress which will be held during 2-4 March 2017 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Czech Society of General Practice will be the host organization for the 22nd WONCA Europe Conference, which will be held in Prague from 28th June to 1st July 2017, and they have informed us that abstract submission is now open.

WONCA Africa was given the opportunity to present a Statement to the delegates at the ongoing 66th Session of the WHO Afro ‎Ministerial meeting holding in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Did you realise that we all just had a fantastic conference in Copenhagen? That is what we hear. We hope that you all had enjoyable stays in Denmark and Copenhagen – and hopefully many of you got the opportunity to travel to some of the other Nordic countries as well. We want to thank you for the brilliant contributions you all made. Whether it was scientific, clinical or as an interested clinician, everyone made the WONCA Europe Conference 2016 a memorable conference.

Dr Jo Buchanan, president of EURACT reports - a visit to Ukraine. Following the council meeting in Budapest meeting I travelled to Uzghorod in the Ukraine with Pavlo Kolesnyk, at the invitation of Professor Ivan Chopey where I spoke at a national Conference of Family Doctors on the development of Family medicine in Europe.
